Claimio CEO David Dorfman Selected to Pitch at Google DeepMind Event During San Francisco Tech Week
The unclaimed property recovery platform will present at the Google for Startups and Google DeepMind Demo Slam on October 6, as Claimio expands its API and embedded partnership programs.
Claimio, the recovery and monitoring platform for unclaimed property, announced that Co-Founder and CEO David Dorfman has been selected to pitch at the Google for Startups and Google DeepMind Demo Slam during San Francisco Tech Week. The event takes place on Tuesday, October 6, in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood, where early-stage founders each have three minutes to present their companies, with no slides.
Dorfman will use the slot to make the case that unclaimed property is one of the largest overlooked pools of consumer money in the country. Tens of billions of dollars sit with state governments, spread across separate databases with different search tools, claim rules and paperwork. Many people never find their money because records are filed under old addresses, former names or deceased relatives.
"Most people don't lose this money because they don't care. They lose it because the system is fragmented and confusing," said Dorfman. "Three minutes in a room full of people building with AI is a good place to show what happens when you put real technology behind a paperwork problem."
Claimio combines data matching, workflow automation, secure document collection and state-specific recovery logic, built by Co-Founder and CTO Andre Tournoux, to help people find, verify and recover funds of almost any size. Users pay nothing upfront, and Claimio is paid only when funds are recovered.
The company arrives at Tech Week with momentum. Claimio and its predecessor, Blue Navy Recovery, have claimed more than $8.5 million for more than 3,000 customers and monitor more than 250 million unclaimed property records.
Claimio has also opened its platform to partners. The company recently introduced the Claimio API and Claimio Embedded, which let fintech apps, service providers, employers and AI agents connect their users with unclaimed money through a direct API, a hosted flow or referrals. Employers can offer recovery and monitoring as a financial wellness benefit through Claimio for Work.
Dorfman will be in San Francisco from October 5 through October 11 and is meeting with prospective partners, platforms and investors during Tech Week. More information about partnering with Claimio is available at claimio.com/partners.
